Tom and I watched a weird Japanese movie a few months ago that I can't remember the name of. It was about a guy who spurts out grotesque bio-mechanical
cannons from his body when he's under extreme duress. It wasn't a very good movie but it made a big impression on us both. This is based on one of the sadistic bad guys who caused the duress.

It was "Tetsuo II: Body Hammer".

The first Tetsuo movie is pretty good. I had the second but didn't get to watch it.

Those transformation scenes are amazing.

Yeah, the action scenes were what made it any good at all. You could really see that the director was doing everything he could with the pre cgi effects to achieve this bizarre vision. Impressive as problem-solving.
