woah. this is wild. I always wondered how much you figured out the piece before you started painting.
Sometimes they change a lot as the paint makes new shapes to respond to, sometimes it's just like a coloring book. "Base drawing". Oops. I meant base like bottom layer, not base like crude. Or did I?
