Here's a piece I just made. It's done mostly in Copic markers, which I've mostly ever just used for grey tones. Came out nice and saturated.

very cool and 3D looking. markers!?
Thanks Tomer-
Have you seen those Copic markers? They're alcohol based and don't leave any streaks at all. Super expensive though.
Wow that's rad.
This came out fantastic. Is it for the Nucleus show? I'd love the original, may have to snag a print of this. How'd you get the white highlights in on the leaves? White of the paper, or added after.
Thanks guys. It was for the Nucleus Show, but since it's already promised to my brother, I decided I'd rather just keep it safe and sound at my house.
I've gotta take another stab at color correcting it before I can make any prints- might be a while! But I'll definitely hook you up Bob.
The white on the leaves is white ink applied with a nib pen.
Beautiful. Sign me up for a print if you make em. :)
This is beautiful. I would love to have a print of it. I have been a fan of you and your artwork for such a long time now, and have never really told you. I fell in love with it back when I was in my mid-teens, and now I'm in my mid-twenties and still just as in love. I've learned so much from pouring over your work on websites and in published works. As an artist myself, I am constantly amazed and inspired by your creations. I'm sorry to gush, but it's like I've had a crush for such a long time and I finally had the courage to say something. If I could derive nutrition from your coloring, ideas, and line work, I would be fully sated. Thanks for sharing your stuff with us. I hope you continue to release small publications.
Wow- wow- such kind words. Thanks so much Alison- you just made my day. Probably tomorrow too.
I'll be away from home for a while, but when I get back I'll see about making some prints of this thing- y'all are first in line.
Thanks again!
Those colors are mad nice bro. You should do copic color comics.
I too would absolutely love a print of this! Lemongrab is definitely one of my favorites, and this is such an amazing piece.
My god, this is glorious. My other half is a massive fan of Lemongrab and would absolutely explode if a print of this found its way into his possession in the future. Please do it, we need this epicness in our lives! :)
What was the significance of the catcher's mitts? I've heard a bunch of really cool theories, but I'd like to know why there were all those catcher's mitts in Castle Lemongrab!
Hey Holly- they were, above all, supposed to be weird and mysterious, so me talking about it is gonna muck that up.
This image is awesome! I totally want a print of this! If this happens, let me know!
This is absolutely gorgeous Tom.
Thanks Jess, I'm flattered!
