This is me sitting in my cubicle at Gem Studio (a storyboarding company no longer in existence) about 5 years ago. I traced my reflection on the monitor in Photoshop. Above me are the fluorescent lights, natch, and those little black rectangles on the windows are outward-facing cardboard American flags.

Hi - linked here because of your illustration in the NYTimes piece - good work. I love the vaguely STEAMPUNK aspect in some of your illustrations. I've been on a steampunk kick lately...
Also, looove the rip van winkle piece. Forests get me going. The coloring is fantastic - both welcoming and eery.
